Another great 3 hours of late afternoon fishing on apache. You gotta love catching those smallies on lite tackle. Did see a first for us, Fsh2win borrowed my spinning rod to tie on his favorite 40.00 topwater lure I said be careful since it only has 6lb test. About the 3rd cast I thought the whole cove erupted only to see his lure being hauled away. I said there goes 40 bucks, well what seemed like 15 minutes later I was able to net the ugliest 13+ buffalo carp I have ever seen. With all the sploches on it, I thought is was a cross between Micheal Jackson and Madonna.
