Went Sunday morning. Couple buddies in their little fold-a-boat, and I cruised the lake in my float tube. Thanks to going the previous Sunday and Pro_anglers report, I was on fish almost all day. Caught one on a jig in a shoreline tree, had some missed fish on the lake trees on a jig. Caught a few fish on a frog, threw that off and on all day till around noon. Most fish were caught on Trigged robos, 1/8 or 3/16oz, mostly used red crawler 6". couple on PSII. Had a lot of fish come off. I should've caught like 20 fish with all the missed bites and lost fish at the tube, but only managed 10. Still a good day. Two buddies caught 3 and 5 each, so 18 fish day for us. The old dam is exposed on two ends. Made a good rest stop to plop my butt and eat a snack!

Right on glad My report was able to help ya.. The 4" robos and 1/4 oz or less weight works great dragging slowly.

actually didn't take any pics all day. By the big trees down on the north end that are kinda out in the middle of nowhere seemingly, the one closest to the east shore has a couple of rocks poking out, and i was sitting on top of the other rock pile closer to the east shore. just a straight line from the two rock piles sticking up and it drops off pretty quick to the base of those trees. South on top of the old dam is that big grass flat, and I kicked a couple of still submerged trees that I never knew were there. Took some mental notes for next time. No GPS or fish finder so I'll have fun trying to find them again once (IF...) the water comes up again...
Nice to see you are still fishin, have you been to Pena to see how it is fillin' up since our project?

Yeah, it's good to get out two weekends in a row. First time in a while. No I haven't been back. You? Did you take pics after you guys got done with the project. I left early to go to work and I would love to see the placement of the habitat on the big west cove and if you guys put any in that little cut with the steep big rock wall just north of that big cove. PM me if you took some pics and if you want some of the ones i took. I took a bunch...
