In case anyone is still interested, I contacted ASU Research Park. Here is the deal: No tubing or boating, hours from 6:00AM to 10:00 PM, state license required for anyone over the age of 14 (urban license not accepted), catch and release, barbless hooks recommended but not required and carp, catfish and bass are stocked, live bait ok. Hope this helps. NickM

ASU Research

I was there last weekend, I showed up at about 6pm and was throwing a 6" C-rig Purple Augertail worm towards the middle and worked it back towards the bank, caught 3 at about 2 lbs + then when the shad school showed up I threw ricos in the chartreuse shad and caught 2 more about the same size. The bass seem to be very active and had many follows and short strikes on a crippled herring, but no positive hook sets. Good luck!

I was there on Sunday the 3rd and caught 5 in about a hour and a half. Caught most on topwater right at dark but before the topwater turned on I was catching them on Senkos. Casting out to the middle and let it sink to the bottom and pop them off the bottom reel in the slack and let it sink down again, they were just picking it up, just watch your line. This was on the lake on the far northern part of the park. Hope this helps.
