Has anyone fished there lately? The other night, I was driving in Tempe, and came across it (on Elliot Rd.). I remember seeing reports for it, but it has been awhile. If anyone knows what is effective there, PM me or just reply...thanks guys.

So many people fish there its not even worth trying anymore. unless you go there during the week , its pretty pressured. theres plenty of small 1-2 pounders, but there smart. Theyve seen just about everything. avoid using spinerbaits, buzzbaits, and other common lures.

screw it then...i am trying to use some lures that I don't have much confidence in (ie.. spoons, jigs) so I'll need to catch a few to boost my fishing ego...thanks for the reply Trophy Hunter, I appreciate it. Anywhere else that you can think of around South Scottsdale to fish?

Actually, i think jigs are probly one of the best things you could use. Thats what i always get them on there. Just fish them really slow.
