I think we should come up with a tourney say something like a Saturday in-between in Feb. or March on Rosy.

1. NO UNDERS ALL FISH HAVE TO BE ABOVE SLOT LIMIT
2. NO FLOATERS ALL FISH MUST BE ALIVE
3. 5 FISH LIMIT NO UNDERS
4. MARINA IS OFF LIMITS
5. ALL BOATS MUST HAVE WORKING LIVEWELLS
6. LIVEWELL CHECK ON THE WATER.
7. ALL FISH WILL BE MEASURED WITH GOLDEN RULE SHORT FISH WILL BE DQ'D ( YOU WILL NOT WEIGH UNDER FISH)
8. 8 HOUR TOURNEY SAFELIGHT TILL ?
9.SCALES WILL BE CHECKED AND VERIFIED BY 3 TOURNEY ANGLERS
10. NO LIVE BAIT
11. NO TROLLING
12. 50 YARD RULE ( IF TROLLING MOTOR IS DOWN )
13. TWO ANGLERS CAN FISH TOGETHER ( FOR THOSE WITHOUT BOATS)
14. IN CASE OF A TIE A SHOOTOFF WILL BE HELD AFTERWARDS USING SPIDEYS CAT AS A TARGET AND NO DELW CANNOT BRING A 50. CAL.

This way if you win you can brag all year for a year without anybody saying anything to you plus you have proof.

Prizes who knows within a couple of months I am sure we as a board meaning all of us can come up with something.

No one on this site knows how to stay 50 yds away from each other. There's too much drive to fish out of DA or Ken's live wells. Besides some of us can't hear the conversation at that distance.

Why Rosy? Neutral you say?

1. Because alot of people fish Bartlett and they have the pattern
down. ( boatcop, Franklin,Jason,Delw )
2. Not alot of anybody goes to Rosy unless there is a tourney.
3. Over the slot makes it harder on EVERYBODY
4. Not disrespecting Ken ( reply to the above post ) but he would have no clue as to what has been going on at Rosy nor would Da so that rules out following them around and I am not disrespecting DA either so dont go there.
5. Rosy will make it a more level playground than say Pleasant or
Sag. or Canyon besides nobody wants to go to Apache thats why I did not name the last 2 lakes because they are only 35 minutes from me.
6.Anybody can catch a limit of rats lets make it real and do only overslot fish.

I should see no reason why a father could not bring there children
that would be up to you as the angler in a way you could introduce them to a low level tourney and may set the hook deeper in fishing.

I'd like to join in at either spot. Rosey, Only overs might line up the true finesse, hard core basser's! Bags would be pretty lite unless the bite picks up but it would be fun! Rats and dinks are a dime a dozen overs can be tough lately watching the reports. Bartlett, I'd have to pre fish a little since I' haven’t' been their in years!

Sounds like a good ideal in a way but you can't beat a MMBC Classic.

bartlett would be fine with me and that every body out there can catch fish and have fun it is also a shorter trip to drive to. any body out there can catch fish from bartlett so its neutrel water to me is the tourny only open to az bass zone members??

The only reason I say bartlett is you will have a bigger turnout there than at Rosy mostly because of the distance to go up and fish a "fun" tourny, a "real" tourny...thats a different story. I guess either way I am in.....Franklin you want to partner up for this??

You are posting on the site CHAMP so I guess you can fish. I am not talking it up as a FUN tourney I am talking serious mindset
type although some will fish it then tell themselves " shucks it was only a FUN tourney" I am talking about the type of bragging rights that you would have over everybody on this site. Bartlett is to easy OVERSLOT fishing isn't. ROSY will bring it out of you and everybody. Toss out the little fish pattern and think of the big ones. Is it going to be luck? Maybe Josh tags a hog on a c-rigged rio grande rico or M bc M catches his first drop shotted 10lber or
Fishin Fever shows up and Art C. and they put a hurting on us because they fish that lake who knows huh. If it is going to be Bartlett then no fish under 16" inches can be brought to the scales.

If it is at Bartlett then I guess 15" will do eventhough it is not that tough 5 quality bites is what you need. ROSY only overslotted fish. Maybe DELW can do a online poll to see who would like to fish this IF WE ALL can agree. I agree to help Franklin set it up. MAybe we can get him or Josh to donate a Raython? radar summer is coming that way we can avoid jetskiers at night. Just remember at that time of year fish are staging ROSY would still be better for bigger fish. Maybe we do a poll to find out if everybody wants a team or single event.

I forsee a team format as being the way to go BECAUSE alot of folks from this board fish together all the time. Lets go with that for now and see what pops up. Time for me to go to sleep I have to work at midnight.
