Found the real definition of the word boat:
Break Out Another Thousand. Well worth it, though it does get to be a pain in the butt when a new line of hand pours comes out and youre stuck payin off the service shop for a new on-board computer brain chip...Gotta Love Ranger Bass Boats!, not complainin, I love my boat, just wish it felt the same about me sometimes I got a crazy story for ya'll, last year a neighbor of mine was invited by me to go to the lake for a REAL fishin trip (he called it). Well he brought his 8 year old son with him, and after about half an hour my neighbor proceeded to snag my hat off my head on his back cast. Was a close call, but I was willing to overlook it. No other problems till about 2 hours later I was gettin ready to leave the last run of shoreline we just worked down, and the boat wouldnt start. I tried everything I knew to get it going and couldnt figure out for the life of me what had gone wrong. Ended up flagging down someone to tow us back into the marina. Took the boat to the service center monday morning, and got a call within 2 hours. It appears someone had flipped the kill switch on the throttle. Someone who was sitting in the driver seat while we were fishing, with a lifevest twice his size, fingers all orange from eating so many cheetos, I thought he was going to turn into one, decided to flip a switch and when it did nothing, he just left it there. I would have never thought to check that. The marine center still charged me 70 bux to run a diagnostic check, and needless to say, I havent called him to go back fishing again. Any one else have any crazy, funny boating stories they would like to share?
