We fished 6am-noon. We caught 18 fish and missed at least that many. All fish were caught on drop shot and split shot. No topwater this morning. Biggest fish was 2.5, the rest were rats. All fish were caught in the no wake area on the north end of the lake. Most fish were caught in 12-15 feet water. They liked Robo babybass curly tail and Berkley purple/black fleck bungee worms. size on the both worms were 4" long.It was a good day! :)

Hey Matt, who's we? I've been wanting to fish Bartlett for a while! Did you get a boat? I haven't heard nor seen ya since you were an involuntary projectile! LOL!

I fished with a gentleman by the name of Martin. He works with me, also holds downa job at the Tempe Waterdog Willies. He has a 17' Lowe bass boat. It's a really nice aluminum boat. It does 40 mph and it rides nice. He didn't even try to throw me out of the boat! We did see a team up in front of us where the pilot hit the power on his trolling motor and forced his partner into a impromtu underwater boat inspection.

I would go to bartlett, Matt I think that If you would avoid hitting the side of the boat (and my fishing pole) I could get at least 4 skips out of you! Oh by the way the clock is ticking on those Kastmasters.

Bartlett would be good for one or two MMBC meetings! it's bit of a drive for east sider (same time as going to Lake unPleasant), but worth it. launching is no big deal. Paved ramp all of the way down. There were plenty of pink thongs out there today! The PWC's are not as bad as Saguaro or Canyon. The lake is similar to Sagauro when it comes to structure and stained water. there's a lot of places with chunk rock and other places with submerged islands and trees/stick ups. There are two places to drop the boat. Probably the north launch would be better(it's closer to the no wake area). It's by the Bartlett flats campground I believe. We launched at the south end of the lake(main ramp). It was my first time on the lake. I'm native born to this state and never been on this lake. Jack, email me about those Kastmasters, I'll deliver them in the AM after church. I need to know where to meet you. [email protected]
