Damn splitshot that must be one hell of a certificate!! I would go to the original BPS in Springfield, MO. and stay at the Big Cedar Lodge. (www. bigcedarlodge.com) If your wife really doesn't want to go, just let me know.

I would probably to fly in to St. Louis. South West Airlines has good fares. Bass Pro is in St. Charles which is only about 10 miles or so from the airport. You can get motel accomidations in the St. Charles area. I was born and raised in St. Louis county. Hope you have a great trip. Rich

Go to the one in Springfield, i have been there 9 times and every time i go there i can spend the whole day. be sure to go to their closeout store next to the main building, it alone is about the size of the Sportsmans wharehouse. I have been to the other one in St. Louis county and it does not even come close. they have a museum and a huge taxidermy exhibit there too.

Closeout store? I would live there. Some of my favorite-ist baits have been bought on close out

A few months ago I flew into Indianapolis, IN and drove to Cincinnati, OH. I believe I saw a Bass Pro Shops on the northern outskirts of Cincy.

Somebody told me that BPS bought land over by the 101 and 202 interchange in Tempe. Has anyone else heard this?
