Hey has anyone fished Big Lake this time of year? Headed up this week to give it a try. If it gets to cold and wet we will head to Show Low Lake and try for eyes. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

call before you head up to big lake. there's a cut - off time or close down date I believe, the lake is closed down for the winter. It may be hawley lake I'm thinking of, not sure.I'll ask my dad tomorrow. He's usually up on those things.

Dad says when the snow starts falling, they'll close the gates out front. Watch the weather real close. Good luck! Matt

Thanks Matt, A front is moving thru on Tues if it starts snowing I'll slip down the mountain. Maybe I can catch a walleye at Show Low lake this time.
