Boat Compartment Doors

what kinda boat do you have? year?

you can do it but it will take lots of work. first you have to cut the lip tht holds the comparments doors off nd fiberglass new ones that are lower into it. providing you have a fiberglass boat.

probably not, but post some pics of your boat showing doors closed and open so we can see the configuration of the compartments, also post year,make of boat. maybe someone has done it before or come up with some ideas to help you out. might end up being more work than it's worth.

Its kind of an oldy but its a 1978 Chrysler Bassrunner, ill post some pics here in a little. It is fiberglass

I've seen the aluminium recessed hatches in Cabelas, i'm thinkin there are two sizes 16" and 20"

I think it is my old boat from the late 70 early 80s .

I think I'd just raise the deck around the doors, but what the heck, I'm just a pipefitter lol
