On Saturday morning, I was heading back to the ramp, calling it a day. As I was heading South towards shiprock (on the right side )a ski boat came around that blind corner on the wrong side, went between the shore and shiprock, and looked at me like, "what are you doing here"?. I looked at him and held my hands up, palms up. To visually say "What's with that"? He flipped me off and laughed. I was about ready to turn around and do my best to explain what he was doing was very unsafe for his 6 buddies and the skier. As long as I am on this soap box. When fishing past sunset, it blows me away how many people are skiing with no lights on. This is a nightly event. On Friday, It was dark when I headed in at about 1/2 throttle and if I hadn't been paying attention, I would have run right up on a big boat with no lights on. Do our law enforcement agencies need an accident before they start enforcing things like this? What can I do as a concerned boater that enjoys safe boating?
