Hey Franklin, did you contact Skeeter directly, remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease!
If the skins are stapled you can get the rust proof t-50 staples at Home Depot. Nickle plated copper I think. A box was about $13 last time I bought one.

Dude I did...Skeeter as far as Im concerned can eat a dick....they have the worst seats on the market IMHO....reason why they went to a different type in 08.....the dealer in Yuma is awesome, very helpful....but talking to those jackasses in Kilgore TX is a complete waste of time...

Conversation today: Hi I have a 04 Zx225 and need some seat skins...you guys know your seats tear up in 2 years?

Skeeter: Well sir you have to get them from your dealer

Me: My closest dealer is in Yuma, Az

Skeeter: well thats where your going to have to go

Me: On the BBC guys have stated you shipped them seats?

Skeeter: No thats not true, we dont ship directly from the factory

Me: Then why are these guys saying you shipped them seats? And its a few different guys that have said this...

Skeeter: We dont ship seats from the factory, go thru your dealer...

Me: How much are these going to cost me:

Skeeter: Speak to your dealer

Me: Your not very helpful, and your product(my boat) gets seen alot w/ your inferior seats....people look at those seats and say I dont want a Skeeter..

Skeeter: Sir we cannot be liable for seats more than a year old...

Me: So this is the way your boat owners get treated..it's a shame such a nice boat has such low quality seats.....I dont want your shitty seats, since thier going to tear up anyway.......I'll procure my own.......I hope you guys go under...click

So anyway, I called the guys in Yuma and the people down thier were more then helpful....I can't understand why the folks at the factory act they dont want to deal w/ any of us...and I know for a fact guys have called the factory and gotten what they needed...maybe it's who you talk to...

I think Im going to have something custom done....the new seat skins dont have logos on them anway, so it might just best to go with a higher quality non-factory seat.....bassmaster ajs look really nice

Did you tell them that your first name was Jamal? All kidding aside franklin that is how pretty much all the companies work.. You have to go through the dealer in order to get any parts.
BassCat you don't.
We'll i wouldnt consider basscat as big as a company as skeeter. Would you?

EXACTLY!!! :hump: :hump: :hump:
I can call them and talk to rick pierce myself and ask him for a seat and he will apologize, ask how the fishing is, ask how the boat is, and ask if i need anything else, or I can POST a topic on BBC or basscat.com and have a bass cat associate tell me how to fix the problem or how he can help me! My closest dealer is in texas or california and I dont have to go ANYWHERE to get help.

BassCat treats you like family.
Gotta be honest. I have had crap for luck with BCB dealers, but Rick & Scott at the factory have bent over backwards to help me with any little thing. If they had a dealer in Yuma, my next new boat would probably be a Bass Cat. As it is I am probably looking at a Ranger when I am ready to buy again.

WE drove my truck to florence alabama to buy the truck from Sherms marine.

Also, after we got home after 2000 miles with the boat behind us, we looked to find that an O-ring in the hydralic steering busted and leaked on the carpet... We called and with no hassle AT ALL, they said the entire carpeting will be replaced under warranty.
Good, Im glad to see WE in there now instead of I.. I thought maybe you were turning into skeeter peeter boy 181.
Hahaha. Sorry guys, me and my dad chose to go to basscat for their customer service!
