Is the Bottom Line fishin buddy 1200 a good product? I am looking for a portable fish finder for my float tube and i think that this might be a good idea. Bps sells a strap that allows it to be attached to a float tube. Is this the only fish finder that can easaly be used on a tube? Please give me any advise you can offer. Thanks

Spend a little more and get the portable Fishmark 320. The power and resolution rocks compared to the 1200. The 1200 is convenient for water temp and having it's own integrated power supply. It depends on what you're after. I've used both and without a doubt it would be the Fishmark.

I have the 1200 for my tube. I like it, it just doesnt show great detail. Its great to know the water temp and depth, and I have caught some fish right below me deeper that I saw on the graph...if you get one, go on Bottomline's site and order the strap they sell for it...it is the best.
