actually you would thing the hippie libs would be all over this. This time they all need to unite together and get this thing stopped. I am not sure how they are going to be able to create a water diversion that will kill off the Salmon...California shuts down the entire ocean if the Salmon gets to low. They are trying to take water to the farmers so they can farm year round instead of season only fruits and veggies. It will be a tough match thats for sure as Farmers are strong to lobby.
When I was there you could see where they were clearing for the gates to be put in on one of the sloughs there. Bobby Barrick got up and talked all about it for a few minutes to make sure that everyone is aware. BS that they paired this up with a bill that would drop the Klammath dam. That gets the Fly fisherman and stream fisherman against the rest of the Delta fisherman.
I love that place(even though its fishing shitty) so I hope they get it taken care of.

I moved to the Delta from AZ last october, just because of the awesome fishing. The fishing is great, but not amazing like it was 2 years ago. its seems to be getting worse, and this would definately not help. I can't believe this!!!!
