Looking to meet some good people who share an interest in Bass fishing, wanting to fish different lake and learn from others. Maybe it's time to step up and fish club tournament and test your skills.

Well Canyon Bass Club might be your club. We are a family group of anglers experienced at all levels who meet once a month and have a club tournament around the state. Out members fish out of boats from aluminum to fish/ski to pro rigs.

Our next meeting:

Aug. 4th 2009

Our meetings are held at the Denny's on South East corner of University AVE and the Hohokam Freeway. Meeting time starts at 7PM. Most members come early to chat and have some dinner.

Normal meeting usually last from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the business at hand and if we have a guest speaker or not.

Our tournament are from safe light on Saturday until 3PM, then on Sunday from safe light till noon. Our night tournament last from 6PM till 7AM. Usually we have 3 night tournments during the summer.

The third night tournament for 2009 is Aug 8th at Roosevelt Lake.

Our tournaments are individual and not a team or draw format.

For our day time tournments we have a potluck type dinner Saturday evening were everyone brings a side dish and sit down as a group and has a good time. With the exception of the year end catered dinner you bring your own steak or burgers to cook. The year end dinner is catered and free to members.
