Too bad you couldn't find a place to throw down wind!! Sorry to hear about the wind killing your plans. 
Canyon Lake Fri. Morn
Hit the water at 7:30 a.m. I'm guessing there were sustained winds of 15-20 MPH and gusts over 35 when we launched........Looked for some spots protected from the wind but it kept changing direction, and up in the river it was alot worse, I know we got some 40 MPH gusts in that Canyon.......shit I almost went swimming.......only other time I've seen wind like that was on Lake Mead..............most spots were unfishable........Flip did get one smallie, but the wind was too much for us today............
