I went to Canyon to throw the old swim baits for a couple of hours this morning. No takers, but a lot of chasers. That's encouraging! Two fish stayed just below the bait, they would have weighed about seven pounds a piece! I slowed the bait down, but they didn't slam it. I saw a lynx in the Boulder creek area too. The tail was too long to be a bobcat. The cat looked like it weighed about 12 - 16 pounds. Good size cat! She walked so graceful along the shore and amoungst the rocks. Pretty cool stuff!!!! Have a great Thanksgiving!!! Matt

Dude coat your bait with some type of scent.......

When they get that close they pick up the smell(which isn't quite right for some reason) and won't bite..............

Or burn it so they don't have time to be indecisive........
