Fished from 5:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the river and main lake. Beautiful morning weatherwise, but fishwise no hits and no fish. Tried everything from top to bottom. :(

It's a tough lake big daddy! that'll be the next lake on my list to master. After lake unPleasant. Hang in there Howard! Invite Joe Owens (basspackers) into your ride, maybe he'll give a discount on his guiding expertise. The man knows his stuff! :)

Hey Rookieboy, thanks for the sympathy and condolences. Nine hours of fishing without a single hit was hard to take. I could have stayed in bed and caught as many! The problem was that I had no clue what those fish wanted yesterday. They didn't "tell" me what they wanted me to throw at them. Before I left for home, I even tried for yellow bass, and caught nothing. I haven't fished with Joe Owens yet on Canyon, but I going to try to. :?
