I went to Canyon to put some hours on the boat but didn't get started doing that until about 10:30. I fished 07:45-10:30 (started out in the rain) and boated 3 smallies on a spinner. I lost a hog smallie that I thought was a LM when he opened wide but clearly saw it was a smallie - a very big smallie! Later in the day during a 20 minute motor cool down I boated another smallie making it 4 on the day. I can't wait to get these hours on the boat and get to pure fishing!

LOL, JOE! It's frustrating flying by one great looking fishing hole after another! I'm not much concerened about the speed thing but I am loving the boat. Interested in a guided trip? :lol:

Nice to see you out there last evening Bayou. We got skunked, but that's ok, it was nice to get the new boat out anyway. I think I'll try again tonight after work, maybe I'll have some better luck.
