Has anyone tried this technique? (For those of you who have not heard of this, this is where you rig everything c-style but put a crankbait at the end. You can add or take away weight depending how deep you want your crankbait to run.) I didn't get to fish much this summer and really wanted to try this technique in the main lake. Just wondering if any of you have tried this with any success.

Thought I would never see that again.

I used to use this in Japan and washington in deep clear lakes for Trout, used it in saltwater as well.
Used it in bartlett a bunch of years ago(like 20) and did so so, always thought of trying it out at pleasant for bass in 30-50 of water. useing a small shad rap or craw rattle rap off of points. just never had..

There was a good article in a bassmaster mag not long ago, i would say in the last year or so. Maybe somone remebers what month it was in. I would tell you myself, but it would take me several days to find it in the ever growing tower of Bassmaster and Infisherman magazeens.
