depends on whether you have an automatic transfercase or a part time.... the part time is the push button and takes regular atf.... the full time takes special gm stuff
CHEVY TRASFER CASE
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT OIL GOES IN THE TRANSFER CASE OF A 2000 SILVERADO? IT'S THE ELECTRIC SHIFT. I GET DIFFERENT ANSEWERS FROM DIFFERT PLACES. MOST PLACES WANT $75 TO CHANGE 2.5 QUARTS OF OIL.

Dave, it should take Auto-Track II, GM# 12378508. Drain and fill will take slightly over
