We got into a pretty good crappie bite for the end of the summer. Ended up with 12 before dark and zero after dark. Many 2 pounders with 3 breaking us off at the boat that were huge. All caught on minnows under very sensitive slip bobbers at 12 feet using chartreuse colored hooks and light line. The bite is there but if you are not set up properly you will never know your bit.

some nice ones in there good job. where did you go?
There are two crappie tourney's in the next few weeks so thats all the info I care to give out right now, hope you understand. It's honest info though on how light the bite is right now, but the fish are there and they are hard fighting. The large ones really pulled hard to break us off like they did and all you could see was the bobber just sit a little lower in the water when they bit.
