F-it, I will just fish thru you guys!
So AZBASSZONE, Im launching just before safe light tomorrow, lake is stained, lots of shoreline cover, what should I start with? (Im pre fishing)
1) Buzzbait! Cover the water and make cool gurguling noises!
2) Trap, dude. They are eating shad anyways, and you can fire it like a mile!
3) Blade! (AKA Spinnerbait) You can toss it up in the junk and just bring it back, no brain required
4) Throw that big yammamoto worm, go big or go home!
5) Um, dude....SWIMBAIT!
So let me know. I will seriously start off with whatever gets the most picks. It's gonna be overcast and rainy, and I am guessing no current since they let a ton out already.

Stained water? The buzz-bait, and throw the one that matches your shorts. Not sure where you are but did very well at the Deta with a Red and Black BB with a gold blade
Go for the buzzbait. Unless it's pouring, if that's the case a big spook or vixen.

Work the BUZZ til sun up then move to trap and hit points and inlets
Try a chartruese chatterbait, with a yamamoto bed bait trailer...should get some nice ones in stained water on it...
I would sleep in then go to breakfast.
go buzz or topwater or smokin spinner baits
NONE OF THE ABOVE,WITH STAINED WATER THROW A 5" KALEN GRUBB IN SMOKE GLITTER OR CHARTRUSE 1/4 OZ WEIGHT PEGGED THAT SHOULD WORK KILLER. BY THE WAY IF IT WORKS GOOD DONE POST JUST PM ME WE WANT TO KEEP IT A MISTERY TO THE OTHERS IF IT WORKED. [JMHO]
When you cant see 4" down, I dont think they can see it.

I would throw a buzzbait til you get tired then a chatterbait or blade til you get tired of that then pick up the buzzbait again and throw that and weigh 12lbs:biggrin:cover as much water as you can to eliminate areas
Loudest buzzbait you have with colors you have done good in there with before, if that bite dies start throwing chatterbait and blades. Once you get a fat limit throw something to get some kicker fish(big worm big swimbait) around some good deep structure. JMO Good luck

I got a pimp ass buzzbait called BREAM. I would post pics but I am too lazy but it is SICK. They are schooling too so of course I will have the splash it with a fly as a trailer.

Throw the buzzbait from the time the TM drops until you figure out where those fish are keying in around (cover, transition areas, etc), then flip for bigger bites for the more lethargic piggies around those areas.
