Hey everyone...finally out here! Have only been out once on Sag. and managed to catch a 16 lb. cat on a Terminator Spinnerbait tipped with a yamamoto worm in the EXACT same spot I caught the 12 lb. cat with Lone Ranger and my father back in March when I was visiting. Anyhow, I was about to snap off a photo of the cat when I saw my father go pale white...he honestly looked like he was seeing a ghost. Just when I was expecting him to keel over he shouts "Mark, let that bastard go, we gotta go back to the marina before our boat sinks!" HE FORGOT TO PUT THE PLUG IN THE BOAT!!! We had the boat on full throtle going 10mph, but we managed to get back...thank god we were only at Shiprock or else it would have been a hell of a swim. We put the boat back on the trailer to let it bilge...it might have had at least 40 to 50 gallons of water in it, no lie. At any rate, the cat was nice, but I really would like to get my first Saguaro LM. Hope to see some of you out there very soon so I can learn some tips...you guys have been great and I thank you for the info.

Welcome to Arizona! Let us know when you're going to be on Saguaro again. See you on the water. (or maybe at this Monday's Round Table Meeting where you can meet many of these folks.)

Well I thinks it time we all come up with a new Call name for the "previously known as the NY Angler". Maybe like well....I need to think about this one for awhile.

Glad to have you here "previously known as the NY Angler" hope to see you on the lake sometime.

Hey Mark (NY Angler) congrats on your move to AZ and on the big cat! Glad to hear you did not have to swim back. Can you get to the plug from inside the boat? In the old days in Florida, if the boat filled up with water during a rain, we'd pull the plug out from inside the boat, drive as fast as we could on plane, and the water would drain out the drain plug. Hopefully your Dad's boat has a bilge pump. Hope to see you out there. Drop me an email sometime when you want to go out again.
