Fishing Both MBC and Allstar Championships

I know there are 5-6 treams that qualified for both championships (MBC and Allstar Sept 25th and 26th). I have talked to John from Allstar and Paul from MBC. They are willing to work with us to make it possible to fish both tourneys.
First, John with Allstar says we will have to go out with Allstar and come in with Allstar. Paul is OK with this. Paul will honor the livewell check with Allstar.... As far as the check in time, Friday Allstar starts at 2pm, MBC starts at 4pm. Paul is OK with us weighing in our fish with Allstar then going back out fishing until 4pm or whatever flight you are in and expects us to be on time.
Next, the second day, both tourney weigh ins start at 2pm. We must be in to Allstar- windy hill at 2pm weigh our fish, then go straight to cholla to weigh in for MBC. (so no more fishing after Allstar weigh in). There will be a witness from MBC to accompany us to cholla ramp to weigh our fish.

Does anyone that didn't qualify for both championships have any problems with these guidelines? Also please PM me if you plan on fishing both championships so I can pass the info on to the tourney directors and make them aware.

the highlight one is going to be the possibility of creating a major problem.
you never let someone weigh in at one circuit then go out and fish and weigh-in at the next.
Thats not very bright to let someone do that. too many possibilities.
like damn that 10 lber that was half floating after the all star weigh-in just happend to hit my bait I through at it. or I was throwing these big crankbaits with big treble hooks were they were releasing fish and hooked a big one.

Paul thinks he has problems now, with allowing someone to fish after one weigh in is going to cause him more problems.
when you weigh in at allstar you should be done for the day and all accompanied by someone to the MBC weigh-in.
I know he is trying to please everyone but thats wrong.

There you go again...what with the bitching! Just messing with ya. Good luck out there everyone.

was this just edited? what i just read and reread was different. i thought paul is going to have his scales at allstars weighing fish on his scales then going back to cholla?

or maybe i read it wrong in the 1st place...

i don't wanna BITCH but I'm NOT okay with (like it's up to me) using different scales.
ghetto,
I quoted it and didnt see that part

I'm okay with Paul using his scales with at 1st day weigh in for you guys at Allstars location. Prob be the best way to do it. Question is, can he get back in time to set up for 1st flight?

I read it wrong then. Thanks.

I personally woundn't mind weighing in a Allstars location the 2nd day. But that's just me. Not my problem but just trying to help.

Dude read the freakin post. The first day guys fishing both will weigh in at allstar then go back out fishing until their weigh in time at MBC and then go to MBC weigh in and have their fish weighed... The second day they will weigh in at allstar then drive straight to the mbc weigh in and weigh their fish...
As someone that fishes tournaments, I don't have issues with people fishing two tourney's at the same time, I do believe you give up your fish at the first weigh in and then should be done. Take your weigh slip to the second director and your done. If you have any problems with finishing at 2, then fish mbc, if your okay with a two weigh in, then Hey..... Your fine with 2 and be done. Like "flung dung said", it leaves to much room for questioning. You should have the same weight at both weigh ins or within ounces for different scales. One thing is, if you have dead fish at the first weigh in, you should not be allowed to upgrade them out second time around. what if you only have one or two fish at first weigh in and then miraculously you come in with a limit at the next? also, on day 2 it says you will be accompanied to the next weigh in. Why? so you don't cheat? If you will cheat on day 2, then day 1 should be the same! 2 tourny's 1 weight.
PLEASE READ

I was mistaken... After talking to Paul, the weigh in will be at 3pm both days not 4pm.... I assumed it was at 4 after the MBC seniors at Bartlett and was mistaken. After a discussion with Delw, the "fishing until the MBC weigh in" will not work. We will weigh in at Allstars and be DONE fishing. We will have a representative from MBC to witness us driving to Cholla both days. Again, please PM me if you are fishing both.

That sounds good to me Matt.

The only concern is for the directors to use the same scales for the same tournies. I know we've fished a few of them where Allstars and MBC had different weights for the same bag ranging around .5lb off.

It's fine with me, I see no problem at all with this.
I'm sorry but I can't take this anymore. Please understand this has NOTHING to do with the anglers that made it to each Championship. This is about scheduling 2 championship tournaments on top of each other!!! We would not have the problem if MBC DIRECTOR had more consideration of other tournament circuits. Allstars tournament schedule and championship already have set dates. Its been like this for years! Look on Allstar Bass 2010 schedule and you will see the 2010 championship date! Look at MBC 2010 schedule and it is still up in the AIR... T.B.A ???? So now there has to be special arangements to fish both championships on the same lake. Were was the help when MBC or Allstar scheduled normal tournament on top each other... there wasn't any, you had to choose which one to go to? Do other circuits run their Championships on top of each other at the same lake. Does Won Bass do this to ABA? Would National Bass do this to Anglers choice? Would BassMasters do this to FLW? Not hardly!!! It just aweful that 2 championships are on top of each at the same lake when they didn't have to be if they did a little advance planning!

Well said.
agree, but it really only affects 5-6 teams and both directors are willing to work with us..In reality, save me a trip.
