Those are really nice units but I have looked at them and in bright sunlight they are hard to see the diaplay. You might also make sure that the unit you get can read and save points to an SD card.

Yes your right, I seen that when I was looking at them at BPS but some do not and my comment was in general for reference. There was another unit down there that had a color screen and some nice features for around $250. I seeing what Lowrance comes out with next for their handhelds. I liked the Oregon but the washout in bright sunlight was an issue.They do have the SD card reader
Costco has the Garmin 60cx with an 64MB card online for $220.
I know it is an older model, but I think it gets really good reviews.
