Good Job Humminbird!

A little over a week ago I dropped my graph, and ruined the display. Sent it in, they had it for a day then sent it back. Spent more time shipping it there and back. They replaced the whole screen and faceplate UNDER WARRANTY! Even though the warranty says it doesnt cover damage like that. I was expecting to pay a fee. If anyone is on the fence deciding if they want to buy a Bird or Lowrance, go with the Bird. Awesome customer service. :hump:

Glad I went with Humminbird
I had a 4 year old Lowrance X91 that the screen was fogging up.I sent Linda at Lowrance a email about my problem 20 mins later I received a email back from Linda asking for the serial # off the unit and my address and I emailed that back to her 10 mins later she emailed me back and said she was sending me out a new X125 and a transducer no charge. Now thats Awesome customer service.Oh I never had to send the old unit in.
Lowrance service sucks, every time I've tried to get service I get the run around or can't get anyone. I broke a bracket off the back of mine last fall and had to send it in for a replacement at $125 (standard repair price)and 8 weeks later. Just my experience....

My experience too, and they did the same chit with james... chitty service IMO. Plus the humminbird is much easier to set up right.
