"A 28-year-old Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty after video apparently showed him trying to feed a 6-week-old kitten to a python.
Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies arrested 28-year-old Jeremy Tuffly at his home near Princess Drive and Recker Road.
The arrest came after Sheriff's deputies received a DVD that depicted Tuffly throwing the kitten at the python in an attempt to get the snake to attack it, according to a Maricopa County Sheriff's Department press release.
The video goes on to show that after the python failed to eat the kitten, Tuffly killed it by kicking it across the yard.
Tuffly was booked at 4th Avenue Jail on suspicion of animal cruelty, a class six felony."
Are there any gators in tempe town lake? He probably faces up to 1 year in prison and 150k dollar fine - I think he deserves much, much more.
