Ok dudes been doing alot of research on this, and some parts of the bill are completely garbage, like illegal immigrants getting free health care...and them pulling money from rich people to pay for it...
With all that said it "could" work....I mean its designed for people to have a low cost option, probably something like the post office....and if you look at the post office no one uses it, we all use UPS or Fed-Ex...the kicker is if the goverment healthcare system is actually pretty good, folks will drop thier current insurers and switch to the Gov forcing private insurance companies to lower thier fees, or go out of business....hard to tell WTF is going to happen...
The President has balls I'll give him that, no one has even tried anything this crazy since FDR came up w/ social security....and for the folks that think our current system is fine, it's not....poor ass people should not have better health care than middle class folks.....most people for a family of 4-5 are paying 400-500 a month where broke dude down the street pays nothing..

Why is it that a family of 4-5 is only about $100-150.00 more than an individual? I've never understood that. Is it like a group discount? Or have the single or individual people been paying higher rates to kick in for someone else's family plan?:whiteflag

Actually $400-$500 is very normal. If the parents are in their 30's or 40's, everyone in good health, NON SMOKERS.

Blue Cross is over $1200 a month for a family and $400 for a single. That is for a family with 40 year old parents on a group plan. AZ is down to 33% of small businesses providing health insurance from over 60% a couple of years ago. The issue is not whether singles are funding families it is whether small businesses will even offer insurance. The reason the democrats are getting so much heat is that people are figuring out that if the government offers an insurance plan all small businesses will switch their employees over the next day and it will cost trillions to fund the program. If they tax small business 8% that will lose another million jobs because it will put thousands of small businesses under.
The reason I use UPS over the Post Office is because the the Post Office has shitty package tracking, they loose your package frequently, you have to wait in line all day to ship something, your shit arrives all fuked up, an insurance claim takes 6 fuking months to resolve, I get my neighbors shit all the time.Man I really think it will be like the post office.....think about it no one uses the post office, we use Fed-Ex or UPS......+people will be willing to pay more to receive better care....
Is UPS more expensive, yes it is, but my shit is taken care of in all those ways the Post Office simply can't because they are so over burdened with bureaucracy.
Yeah thats exactly what I want in a health care system that my life depends upon. One that I'M going to be HEAVILY taxed on only to go pay private sector for better care. Um yeah sounds like a real good plan...
My neighbor is a part time resident from Canada. He fuking hates their health care system. He told me its a joke; a visit will take all fuking day, and sometimes you don't even get in to a doctor and you have to come back the next day!
The worst part he says his ass pays through the nose for it in taxes. A gross income of $50,000 per year in Cananda is taxed at 34%! That's just income tax! Shit all my tax deductions including a 6% investment in 401k, dental, health and social security is like 29%! You'll be looking at over 40% in TOTAL payroll deduction with this silly plan.
Seriously, yes health care is expensive, but you think the government can do it cheaper, do you seriously think you are going to get better care? Picture the DMV, that's the way a hospital will look and run.
This is just another ploy to allow the lazy mother fukers that don't want to work to get something for free. Another step closer to a socialist society. How many more days till we get to vote this mother fuker out...:x
As far as postal services go the USPS kicks the crap out of UPS as far as everything besides online tracking. If I have to use a carrier besides USPS I will always go with FedEx over UPS. UPS is the one that beats up your items and everyone of there boxes look like they went through the trash dump (filthy and banged up). But I understand your point just used a bad example.....:wink:

where is the cap on medical malpractice law suits in the bill? doctors are scared to death to even touch you any more,since Omama's cronies are just looking to sue doctors.doctors have to send you for x rays,mri's etc, to protect there asses.how about hospitals,clinic's having someone checking I.D.'s at the door to see if your a U.S. citizen,since illegal's send $28 billion a year back to there country.they already have 2 healthcare's run by the government that are broke.now want a third? people protesting are people who have private insurance and like it.leave our insurance alone!! people are waking up!!
