Uh oh, the tube is coming out and Im going Thursday morning before work.....now the Q here is, do I be brave and go try Pleasant (I have no clue how low the water is, this would be a HUGE factor in where I fish if I go there) or do I go for numbers and try Bartlett? Depends I guess....if Im going alone I will probably hit Pleasant....I was thinking Castle Creek or maybe the Dirty shirt area....anyone have any suggestions?

Stay at home because you can't fish anyway...........wait I got a better idea........drive to Willow Beach, float down the river till you get to mile marker 52, then see if you can hook a big striper out of your tube............with that 5'6 St. Criox kiddie rod.........Franklin :roll:

pleasant or Bartlett?

Jason you cant go wrong at bartlett, you know as well as everyone your not going to catch a big fatty, just small chunks and lots of them. As far as pleasant, we fished the friday tourney and got skunked, craig at waterdog willys told me there was 20 entrants and only 6 fish were weighed in a 2.87 lbr took the 200 dollars and it only took a 1.7 lbs to place in the money. Its been real slow fishin at Pleasant, so if you go there i would fish real small baits like a 4 inch worm texas rig, or carolina rig, I would toss a 4 inch senko to a good lookin shore line and retrieve back real slow, everyone is hoping that the top water bite will take of soon here so do your best and keep your head up eyes and ears open!

We should be out there at first light...Bartlett, rattlesnake cove...we usually launch on the beach and kick around the dock...unless we get there a little after the sun comes up, then we would put in after the dock....let me know if youre going to go!

the best spot would be by the launch ramp, or head twoards the flats. Ive never fished either spot from my tube though. Rattlesnake is a little walk down some stairs, but we always catch fish there.
