Once you log in, on the Forum Index page, there's a link that reads "View posts since last visit" click on that and you'll see every topic that has a new post since the last time you logged in and nothing more. It will include all the boards, (chat, reports, etc.). Just use the back button on the browser to get back to the list of new posts.

I log in and click the square to log on automaticly (that doesn't seem to work), but it shows me as logged on. Then I click on chat and then view new posts and it brings me back to the log in screen. Logging in again does't work.

You need to clear your cookies in your windows program and your temp. internet files in your browser.

win 98 example
select start
then run
type in cookies
then click ok
then click edit
then select all
press your delete key
all but one cookie will be deleted click ok

explorer version 5
open your browser
then click tools
click select internet options
clear temp files
it will take a little while
then reboot and you should be good to go.

I took the Sticky off of this and added these two tips to the board's FAQ page.

Posting Issues
How do I view new posts only?
Once you log in, on the Forum Index page, there's a link on the right side that reads View posts since last visit click on that and you'll see every topic that has a new post since the last time you logged in and nothing more. It will include all the boards, (chat, reports, etc.). Just use the back button on the browser to get back to the list of new posts.

Login and Registration Issues
I log in, but it keeps asking me to log in when I try to post?
This works for many confusing log in problems. You need to clear your cookies in your windows program and your temporary internet files in your browser. In Windows 98 for example: select start, then run, type in cookies, then click ok, then click edit, then select all, press your delete key, all but one cookie will be deleted, click ok. In Internet Explorer version 5 for example: open your browser, then click tools, click select internet options, clear temp files, it will take a little while, then reboot and you should be good to go.
