Good luck to everyone that's getting out this weekend. I wish I could but after having shoulder surgery a few months ago, I still cant pull my bow. I have an archery cow tag for 6b here in about three weeks too. Not looking good..

Anyway, good luck to the rest of you, hope you stick some toads.

mtnbiker if your doctor will fill out the paper work go get a crossbow permit so you can still hunt your cow tag.

I was going up to unit 9 for deer and turkey but that got canceled..sooo I'm heading for rosey for some mean green bigmouths. good luck to all.

I thought about the crossbow route, but I'm still hoping to pull my bow. Im close, just not quite there.

I thought I saw something in the regs that says you can transfer your tag to a junior hunter if you are unable or can't hunt..just an idea.

lower the poundage on your bow? im off in the morn to go get my deer. remember g&f legal hunt pounds on a bow is 40#.if you drop to 50 and place a good shot at 30 yards or under youll be fine.just a thought

Whoo Hooo, pulled my bow this morning. I'm a little shaky, but with a couple weekends to practice before the season I should be good to go.:biggrin::biggrin:
