grow a water mellon patch at the kfc
i agree. they picked the LA guy cuz he used to be in the medical field, but a bigger name would have done a lot better. You guys are lame. On top of it you put once again some smuck to counter like before that no one has heard of. I would take the advice of FLO on progressive insurance over that quack. Jesus, John Mc Cain is the Respected face of your party let him counter. I was embarrassed for the republican party once again a worthless counter to the speech from a nobody......
He is one of the smarter presidents.......people make hate him but he knows how to get what he wants...If they have a public option for 8% of payroll I will switch my employees the next day. They will not have a choice to keep their private plan and Obama knows it. He just lied to you dumbasses.
Obama is a master of campaigning and among the best orators out there. Gotta give credit where credit is due.He is one of the smarter presidents.......people make hate him but he knows how to get what he wants...
Notice how he has come to AZ what 3 times in 8 months? And given speechs at ASU? Money in the bank.....
Guys in washington are all crooks, but I like it when a new guy comes in and beats them at thier own game....
It was sad that they didn't let McCain counter.....the Republican Party is a mess
Dude you forgot about the part about people being fined if they choose to have no coverage. That is the thing that pisses me off most. Why the hell should someone be fined if they do not want health insurance? Just another way for those POS libs to take away more freedoms...Obama's Health Care Plan Summarized
* Cover all Americans with health insurance by requiring employers to provide health insurance to their employees. Mandating all children have health insurance.
* Allow workers to keep their employer-provided health insurance if they lose their job (or in between jobs).
* Outlaw the practice of insurance companies rejecting people because of pre-existing health conditions. And make insurance premiums the same for everybody regardless of health status.
* Provide a one-stop marketplace, called National Health Insurance Exchange, for customers to compare and shop for insurance plans.
* Have a government run “public” health insurance option to provide low-cost, affordable health insurance for everybody, spur competition.
In my opinion you do not let government "compete" in a private sector such as healthcare, the auto industry and so on. Govt run "public" health insurance = We are Phucked! Think of the cost, even if we had to pay ".80 cents a day"
Exactly correct and thats the way it should be. People make choices everyday that affect their lives but at the same time they dont want to take responsibility for it. EVERYBODY right now has the right and ability to get healthcare/insurance and nobody will be denied treatment. Problem is they dont want to pay for it. Well whats your life worth? If I go in debt 100k to save my life, well Ill pay it back with or without insurance. Its not like the hospitals will not work with you on making payments that suit the both parties. People just dont want to pay for what they get.Hey if you choose to not have insurance, and you don't think it's fair to get fined if you don't have insurance.
Well then when you get sick or injured and you can't pay for your medical treatment and the hospital tells you to pack sand, then I guess you have nobody to blame but yourself.
Well put."Can someone in a (short version) in 3rd grade language explain to me what he wants to do"
OH HELL NO!!!!! Did you just ask that question on the AZBZ?
You see!
First you are going to get a bunch of Right wing conservative anti Obama BULLSH!T, which will then be followed by another bunch of Left wing Liberal Pro Obama BULLSH!T, and at the end you'll be so confused you won't even know what's right and what's wrong.
My only suggestion is to read up on it as much as you can, from various news sources(media outlets) then listen to what he has to say, then form your own opinion.
