Lake mead or Havasu this weekend which one would it be?

I want to get out of town for a day or so. no tournys on the local lakes but there is a won bass team at mead and a won bass team at havasu.
I was thinking the Havasu one , but if I cant talk Mr.Bass into my wife was wanting to maybe goto mead(due to the casino's) Chances are she wont be going anyhow but the thought crossed her mind.

Oh yeah if I cant find a partner to go anyone wanna try it?
you have to sign up for $45 dollars as a won member(which is good for any tourny).

Leaving friday, coming back sat night.

Mead or Havasu

Delw.

If it were me fishing this weekend I would have to go to Havasu. Why you ask, well Lake Mead sucks right now and Havasu is good (great small mouth bite) plus there would be somewhere between 80 and 150 people very mad if I did'nt show up at Havasu this weekend. So those are some of my reasons. Besides I was just at Mead for the Won Bass tri-states and left all my money in the casino.

John wife just backed out HAHA, so havasu it is, If I can get someone to go.

You will have between 40 and 75 boats? I was just going to email you and ask how many boats you would have.

Yeah thats what she wanted was the casino and no kids so she expected me not to fish and um.... NOT!

We are headed up to laughlin on our 21st or 22nd(i forgot) aniversity in dec. I am just trying to plan that around a tourny also.

I never really know how many boats we'll have at Havasu the bite is pretty good so I think it will be a good turnout. I am getting alot of e-mails and calls about this tournament. My wife is calling me so gota go.

Definately Havasu. I was out there last month and had a blast catching 2lbers throughout most of the day. I don't know what they are doing now but I think it would be better fishing than Mead.

ill bet money if delw was to drive he would never make it!! He would first stop at an accident,get shot(but only once) have to stop for a nap because he took to much codine for his tooth ache,then stop and rap his hand after punching the metal box,then stop to change a flat tire (witch he doesnt have a spare). Then it would be a race to find a krispy kream stand. All that....i dont think he would make it in time to see first light to launch..... :lol:

I would fish Mohave out of Catherines landing. You can stay there or at the Sahara for 19.00 They have a secure boat storage in front of the casino. Guarded day and nite. Fish are big and lots of them all around damn end of lake.
