I'm a piece of sh*t
I was all dialed in and packed up to hit Rosey today with a buddy Ken Larabee, told him to meet me at Sag around 3am, and takein my trk n boat, my alarm clock never went off, woke up at 5am to find the alarm was set right but the clock was sayin 5pm, 12 hrs off, had my time screwed up. I called him and he said he was up at 1am, out the door by 2am, and waitin at Sag by 3am. I was a no sho so he drove home, when I called at 5am he said its cool, some other time and tried to be cool, but I know he had to be pissed, Sayin sorry is a sign of weakness, but this time I gotta, SORRY KEN. Went anyway, got to the lake at 730am, everything went to shit, everything I touched broke, wind was terrible, caught 1 dink on a rattletrap, off the water by 11am. home by 1230. Have the kids set your alarm clock, they are good at electronics.
The sun is rising (safelight) around 5:30 - 6:00 AM, sleep in and don't try to show up to Saguaro 2.5 hours early.
Good job on the apology, stuff happens to us all. Just make it up on the next trip! It means that you care and things went F.U.B.A.R for the day.
