All right. Who owns one of these? I like the feel of them and they cast a mile, even with the lighter weight baits. I own the 1000H series. Jeez it's a nice reel!!!

I have 2 of them, Igot them with the combo. 1 for spinnerbaits; 1 for worm & jig. I find them very comfortable. Better than my curado; + to my Scorpion. No complaints here. ...Pete

Matt, I also have two of them. Undoubtedly, the best baitcasters I own (and I have a Curado, as well). I've purchased both through EBAY and got pretty good deals.

Rookieboy, the Johnny Morris reel, Pro qualifier and the Rick Clunn are all built on the 1000h frame. i have 3 Clunns 3Pros and 2 Johnnys. the clunns and the pros are smoother than the Curados. the johnnys are smoother than the Chronarch and as smoooth as the $400 shimano reel forgot the name. best thing about the reels they will fix them for FREEEEEEEEE. my son had 2 reels that were 5 years old that he beat the hell out of. sent them in and in 2 weeks i had them back fixed and no charge.

I have got one too and love it. Does anyone know how to adjust the 6 pin centrifugal brake? It has me baffled. :evil:

To adjust the pins just push them all in and pull out the ones you want one click. I keep them all pulled out and have good success with it that way

LOL, John! I have had mine over a year and haven't bid on any more lately! As much as I'd like to get another one I can't justify it right now. I'm pretty much set equipment-wise. However, a rod may be in the works soon! Are you bidding on any rods right now so I know where to go to outbid you? :lol:

I own one of the Rick Clunn siries reels from bps, it casts better than any reel i have ever used. I cant imagine what the Jhonny Morris reels are like. I also own two of the bps all metal spinning reels, they handle very nicly as well.

Used one of Boat Cops one night and it did cast very well.....I own a Johnny Morris Rod, and it is super high quality as well, Bass Pro Shops has always made high quality fishing equipment at great prices..........
