Profuse, sincere apologies to all, but I cannot (as surely you have guessed) pull off a Labor Day Classic. I will however do a Columbus Day Classic and post details soon for those who have patience enough to stick with me. When I returned from Washington in late July, my wife finally committed to selling our house and buying a new one. With me. Long story made short -- in the first week of August we put our house on the market and started looking at new houses. Within a week we accepted an offer on ours and our offer on a new house was accepted. That was the good news. The bad news was we had to move into the new house on August 22 and our old house closes on August 29. Worse news -- I was out of state on AGFD business for much of this time. So, my wife and two boys and new daughter-in-law did the bulk of the packing, and so far everything has clicked. Last night my Internet access was restored (COX this time) and tonight was my first peek at a website in nearly 30 days. I haven't fished in more than that. We still have about 250 boxes to unpack, and all kinds of furniture moving to do (people ought to move more often than every 21 years), but Da will be relieved to know that at long last Sherry has a house that is close to the one of her dreams. No more whining!!! The house is in Arrowhead Ranch (western slum section), and backs up to "water" of a recycled variety. Fishing is prohibited, but jigs with the hooks removed can be used to practice flipping and pitching and in AZ that ain't fishing!!! (I hope!!) That's about all I can say tonight, because I have more unpacking to do and a whole lot of AGFD work to do that moving and lack of Internet access has put way behind schedule. I don't know when this website changed or why, or if it is going to stay set up this way, but thanks to any and all who made it evolve. Looks very nice, easy to navigate, and best of all it seems like most of the SOFs are still posting. I hope to add a few myself within a few days. Meanwhile, Good Fishing! to all who are getting on the water -- in boats or tubes or waders. See you soon. Terry
