Did anyone try fishing swimbaits with any good results this past monday at Canyon? G&F stocked it I heard, and was just wondering if anyone tried their luck.

Looks like our guest (ghost) poster has made a smartass out of everyone Oh well, guess nobody fished swimbaits on monday, just was curious because I plan on goin up there on the 22nd (next stocking date) to see what I can do with an Osprey or a Castaic. Thanks anyways guys!!!

Fished Tuesday night with swimbaits no hook ups had a tailsmack
but no hookups on swimmers. Had a small fish on a jig and 1 on a
cicada but nothing to brag about. OH Boulder area.

JD, I was working and not able to fish on Monday, so I have nothing to report. You mentioned the 22nd as being the next stocking at Canyon. I think that when the AZ G&F says Dec 22nd for the next trout stocking, that they really mean the week of Dec 22nd. That means they could stock on any weekday. Can anyone one confirm this?

yes i can they said they where going to stock saguaro on the 8 but it did not get stocked till thursday the 11 i have even talked to the hatchery and they gave me no info so it is the week of the day that they stock
