It's been a pretty good Summer so far, and the Fall should really be good. The last few weeks numbers have fallen off from 30 - 60 a day, but overall still pretty good action to be had 10 - 20 a day. The baits that have worked for us have been many. Jerkbaits and Cahtterbaits have been the best with medium running cranks close behind. Colors and sizes on the Jerkbaits have been anything with a little gold or a perch pattern. As for the Chatterbaits and Spinnerbaits both white and chartreuse have been good. If you use a chatterbait use a Live Magic Shad from Lake Fork Tackle as a trailer. The best color on Crankbaits for us have been all white, or blue and chartreuse. With the weather starting to cool in September the Buzzbait bite should start rocking! Chartreuse with gold blades, and black with gold blades are your best bet. We are always willing and open to give advice on any lake you may be fishing, so feel free to call or stop by the shop. Here are a couple of pictures of recent trips.
