What a nice lake you all have Westsiders We fished from 7am till 11:30am. Most of our fish came right on the bank in a shelf line of 20 - 25ft. We fished up in the arm and it was pretty quite not many boats. Few ds and a few on softjerks. Hopefully they will be there next week.

you can always catch fish on pleasant dropshotting goodluck i hope pleasant treats you well like it has me there still big bass in there i caught one that was 9 pounds and 3 over 5 pounds this year just dropshotting in the main lake

Delw- where exactly does it close? Can I see a map at Game & fish website? I think I'm safe unless they close the whole thing

Its closed just before the cliffs. there will be bouye markers across the lake.

those werent caught dropshotting,

I had one come off at the boat that was an easy 11lbs+ dropshotting 3 days before big bass days(which I dont fish) , and caught a bunch last year over 5 lbs dropshotting. this year my biggest dropshot fish was about 5lbs maybe 6. yesterday I lost one that went between 4-6lbs dropshotting.
My dropshot bite didnt pick up until 4 weeks ago, now I cant put that pole down.

Talk about the bearer of bad news Our biggest fish came down that point about 60 or so yds. Looks like on that map it is well inside the closure.

60 yds? If you bought one of those new $500 Shimano computer controlled reels you could still cast to it from the no entry buoys! :wink:

What am I thinking Chris? I feel so bad. Its not your fault you didn't know where they closed the river and you won't be able to fish your best spot. So I'm thinking, how can I help Slotking out?

Little do you all know I use the donkeys to scout out what you guys are doing out there when you pre fish, they all have little cameras attatched to a live feed to my house. Im so high tech!
