I will start with mine. It was about 8 years ago, but still cracks me up to think about it. Our club had a 2 day tourney on lake Piru out in So Cal.....it was day 2 and we were headed to the ramp after a looong day in the heat and so/so fishing. I had a limit to weigh in, as did my friend I was fishing with. We get about half way there, and his motor dies! He had a little Basstracker type boat at the time. We flagged down a ski boat and they agreed to pull us in....I did say something to them about us sort of being in a hurry b/c we had to weigh in our fish. ANYWAYS.....I was sitting in the front chair, holding the tow rope (Keep in mind I was very tired! we stayed up late the night before) when the front seat broke free! Instead of letting go of the rope, I got pulled right over the bow and into the water. The people in the ski boat were doubled over laughing...not to mention the boat passing by with about 4 half naked women in it that saw it all happen too. We never did make it in on time, but I got cooled off...

Thought i about lost Delw during last sat nights waterdog willies tourny, but instead i got a cleaning bill for my boat carpet for him. It was about 11:00pm and pitch black out due to the cloud cover and lack of moon light. We were in the very back of our favorite cove. There was bushs and trees sticking up thru the water. We floated thru some brush and stopped in the middle to do some flipping when all of a sudden about 3-4 feet from Delw was a big crane or heron bird.....it let out a SCHREECH (think he saw Dels face?? ) then it was Dels turn to SCHREECH. Not sure who was louder.....But now i think i know were the stain came from on the front carpet of my boat. Del,the bill is on its way to ya

I have never fallen out, But i have done the dance of doom on the bow of my partners boat during a tourney at apache in Feb. Seems he has one of those 107# trolling motors and when you accidently kick it up it will buck you off. while i was doing the dance of doom with a fish on my line i was almost fully over when my partner grabbed the back of my jacket and pulled me back. I owed him so the last time he tripped on his tackle bag in the rear of the boat and did a faceplant in the drivers seat i gave him a courtesy "You OK" prior to bustin up laughing. Fair is fair, I owed him.

Pre-fishing at Apache. I was trying to retrieve my father in-laws lure from a tree when I tripped over my size 16 flip flops. OK size 12, well 11 1/2. In I went.
A funnier one (at least for me) we were at Pleasant and went to anchor for the night. My partner was a little tipsy. He grabbed the anchor and got into his throwing position. Swung it back and forth a couple of times and let her rip! Yup, he forgot to let go of it. I was cracking up until I saw the last of my anchor line sink. He still hasn't bought me a new one.

I was fishing at Pleasant with an ex brother in law. We were in the old Coleman Crawdad with the ferocious 5hp motor. We finally got to the spot I was looking for when my ex bro casted out his Pop R! Well he almost casted it. He caught me by the ear and kept yanking his rod forward as if he still could cast! Well, I never wanted a pierced ear, but he sure gave me a good one. I think it was the 3rd yank that made it all the way through

Well after I pulled my new fishing jewelry out of my ear, we settled down and decided to get on plane and find a different spot. My trusty old 5hp took a few good pulls to start. It was getting kind of finnicky so my ex bro came got closer to see what was wrong.

I caught him with my elbow on the back stroke of a killer pull on the pull chord. Nailed him right in the chest and knocked him clean out of the boat! :D That was just poetic justice! It made my ear hurt just a little bit less!
