2 extreemly dumb,blind,deaf,cow elk with a sinus infection and stuffed up nose, in unit 11m. Been there 3 times and covered ALOT of ground and only seen sign, cant believe it. they must be in deep,deep,deep cover. Go between A1 mountain and wing mountain or, there is a small praire on top of wing mountain in a crater, sometimes water too. nobody goes up there, well, used to.

no sir. it's not. but i've been following this herd ALL summer long. see them every time i get to my area. now if only they don't scatter too much before my late season. and if they do, they don't neglect the areas i think they'd hide in i should be eating me some elk next year.Holy cow, that looks like one of my spots in 7w. I dont think this ones yer fault, if I remember right the email goin round starts off sayin "Check this out, a guy from work was flyin over Mormon Lake last weekend and this is what he saw". So it makes it sound like he is a friend or sompthin. Kinda.
I believe these photos where taken from Ranger or Guardian Air...cant remeber, emailed to a friend and then it just kept going.

hey Kevin, this storm that's on the way ought to fill the hidden waterholes for a while and after the bull hunters/deer hunters scare the cows farther from the roads i'd be looking for food and bedding areas. aka trails to and from...
