My daughters want me to teach them to fish. And I figure since its so hot in the Valley that its the perfect chance to goto Flag and camp. I was thinking White Horse lake south of Williams, but Rudy says the fishing is no good there right now. What about upper lake mary???

Any other ideas?

I would take 'em to woods canyon on the rim (out payson way).
They will surely catch some trout. If you dont have a rim boat, I've seen many guys use their bass boat on the lake, just dont drop your big motor in the water.
Guaranteed fish !!
Yup, what Turtle Soup says... Especially if it's gonna be their first time out you wanna make sure they'll be catching some fish and woods canyon would be the place to do so.

no go to big lake and you can catch 30 trout a day if you have a boat, alot furthur than woods canyon though
Around Flagstaff, I like Dogtown or Lake Mary. Dogtown is outside Williams near Whitehorse.... Nothing too big there, but you can ussually scrounge up a couple of trout and maybe crappie. Chucking metal at lake mary can get you some some hard fighting northern pike.

Woods Canyon is a great place to beat though as noted by the guys above.

Good Luck!
They still troll Ford Fenders for trout at Wood's Canyon?
asherst take like 3lbs of corn the first day u get there throw it in the water then fish that spot the rest of the weekend u will slay them
