Low Visibility Fishing

What are your preferred methods when visibility is only a foot or so? 90% of the time I'm t-rigging with glass and tungsten because it makes me feel that the sound gives me and advantage and I'm confident with that. I really like fishing the bottom with light gear and keeping my line tight. Also, I'm usually fishing blacks, blues and purple colors for those conditions, what other colors should I consider?

What about dropshotting? Is that as effective in very stained water? I usually fish plastic worms whichever way because I'm most confident in that and therefore can fish slowly without losing patience.

But I wanna try some new methods. I've been away from cranks and other things for a while now, mainly because I don't like dealing with trebles and never had much luck anyways. What do you suggest?

One of my favorite "muddy waters" baits is a watermelon red/green Yamamoto Kreature rigged with a Top Brass 3/16 oz mojo pegged to it. It goes against normal logic, but has worked well for me.
Spinnerbait if it's less than 10ft.
I've never fished a spinner bait or any creature plastic. As far as spinnerbaits, what type of blades, what colors and what retrieves are most effective in low visibility. I actually don't even own one and gotta go pick one up. What brand or model do you guys recommend?
Colorado blade thumper and a ratlin jig in Black and blue. If I had to crank I would use a lipless that suspends in firetiger.

Mike, I had a hard time tossing Spinnerbaits at first. No one can really explain it to you, god knows Decoy tried with me and it just didn't sink in until I tried to toss it one day and found my own rhythm. The only thing you really need to know is the basic setup.

Pick up a Chartreuse and White, White, and Chatreuse colored Spinnerbaits. Those are the only colors I throw. Combo and Double Willow work best. If it is really murky, buy one with a large Colorado Blade. If you do that, pick a black one up as well. Get them in 3/8ths and 1/2 oz. Then go to the lake and toss them. Spinnerbaits are pretty much a huck and retrieve style bait. If you don't get bit slow down or speed up your retrieve. If you don't catch any fish then switch baits. It doesn't get much more simple than that.
When I fish murky water I toss dark colored Jigs & Worms for the finess deal and I toss a rattle bait like a one knocker or a Youzuri Vibe rattler, a crankbait in a bright red or chartreuse color, or a Spinner bait in white or Chartreuse.
I like Black and blue Jigs and Tex-rig Berkley Chigger Craws. For a reaction bite I use Chartreuse and white spinnerbaits,Crawdad crankbait and a black and blue Chatterbait.
Thanks guys, I'm gonna hit up Bass Pro tonight and pick up some stuff.
