Wow,those are some nice pics, hopefully we will get a response from lotsa luck.He post some good pics as well.Thx........
If Lowrance hits a home run??? Its outa the park man. Lowrance has set the benchmark for all other side imaging sonar units to follow. Stay tuned.....humming what?????I've been interested in side imaging for the past two years. H-bird has been the leader thus far, it would be interesting if Lowrance hits a home run with the new units.
My style of fishing has always been shallow, I would buy a unit that highlightes the fish tight to structure straight infront of the boat.
I have a 102C on the front and it works great, but that's below the boat. I want to see the fish react to jerk baits, topwater, and do-nothing baits infront of my boat. JMHO
Not likely franklin.. That would be like saying Intel and Amd use the same technology and it aint even close...To me it looks about the same as Humminbird, I'm sure they use the same technology
Well I think this is different because Humminbird has had thier unit out for a few years....Lowrance IMHO is already behind the power curve....Not likely franklin.. That would be like saying Intel and Amd use the same technology and it aint even close...

Not true..Lowrance and Bottom Line both had side finders years ago (early 90s).It just didn't take off and was dropped from there product line due to poor sales. That is why Lowrance held off,to see if the technology would be profitable enough in the long run to reintroduce with refinements.Basically they let Hummingbird take a chance on acceptance this time.+1
I have nothing but Lowrance on the boat, but they did get a slow start out of the gates on this technology, so hopefully like it was said before, competition makes better units and the pricing should come down.... hopefully
I stand corrected. The 90's version had color on the down scan and forward view? H-Bird has monochrome. I know years ago Joe Owens was sponsored by Bottom line and he had the forward view, but the pictures he had on his screen were nothing like you see on H-Birds version.
