The Bob Hirsch Crappie Classic will be on Oct. 10th, 2009 at Roosevelt. The AZCA has reserved a group site at Grapevine for the nights of the 9th and 10th. Details and entry forms will be posted soon.

Bill,

That is the weekend of the Florida/LSU game and I am suposed to be in Baton Rouge to watch the game in Death Valley. As of right this second I am out but who knows as things get closer.

Can anyone tell me how these tournaments work.Like daytime only,any minnows allowed,bag limits.Any answers would be appreciated.Thanks

Its daytime and any legal fishing method is good to go. IT WILL BE LOUSY WEATHER and the fish rarely bite at all during them.

The derby runs from about 7am to 3:30pm. Minnows and trolling are OK and you can weigh in 7 Crappie.
