Are they giving a boat away for the championship?

No they are not
No they are not
That sucks. We fished all season for a shot at one..

ABA should be fishing for a boat next season as well right?

Is there any other circuits next year that will be fishing for one?

Thats not true
Randy Never promised a Boat, infact he told everyone it would be tough to get one due to the economy, and he would see what he could do.

He may have said it but I never heard that during the regular season. I found this out when the season was over... However, I did hear something about the powell rods during the regular season...

I don't know about everyone else but I'm just saying that one of the major reasons we fished all season is to have a shot at one.. Nevertheless, it was a fun season especially fishing with my big bro... I have always looked forward to the shows MBC puts on and I'm not down talking them in anyway.

No the website said it!
for the 2009 season?(season we just had) I dont think so.

The powell rods weren't going for that season also, according to randy. I could have sworn he said it wasnt on the first 2 tourny's as he told me before they even started the series that powell rods wasnt in that year, I am almost sure of it.

dam, went from no boats to two boats just like that! Awesome!
With that info, I wasn't there when Randy said there was no boat.

Can you see why I was under the impression that we are going to be fishing for a boat? Hard to argue there!
No the guy who put the stuff on that website was more than likely wrong, ( or perhaps randy told him to put it there but I doubt it)

Randy specifically asked me to keep it off the website I had, he also asked if I knew of any rod manufacturers that would be able to donate rods or discount them cause powell rods wasnt doing good and didnt promise them, this was befoe the beginning of the season. Powell I thought gave him notice that they wouldnt be able to do it early last summer before the 2009 schedual was out.

Maybe they changed it in jan/feb? I have no clue ( on the rods?)

I know that randy busted his ass to try to find a rod manufacturer and other replacements for the AOY and in feb march randy told me again he didnt get a confirmation on the boat as triton was hurting pretty bad
