It was his choice to do all the drug cocktails and he paid for it in the tune of 40K a month and his death. Unless there's some bullet holes, let it go. The guy was talented but I'll remember him as a pedophile and a freak show. Don't go after the doc that supplied him with his habit, he would have got it elsewhere.
