I have a minnkota maxxum 74 the is making an aweful noise. it used to only do it at high speeds, but today started doing it at low speeds. anyone know someone who works on minnkota and is reasonable?????? thanks. BTW I caught twelve at Pleasant today :lol:

make sure all your wire connections are tigth in the head of the trolling motor.

Also check your prop to make sure its not rubbing.


if that fails take it to tempe marine.

If your motor isn't under warranty, you will get charged the shop rate + parts. Tempe Marine fixed a problem with my Max74, but I was also under warranty so I didn't have to worry about $ for once...

This is the only other authorized MK service center for the Phx area.

al is the man!

Took my TM to Al. he lives in North Glendale. Great Guy! Fast service. I highly recommend him to anyone in the wst valley who need minnnkota repairs!
