[Bayou]

I fished before work 05:15-09:00. I only boated 2 fish - a rat on a Splash-It on about the third cast of the morning and a 3lb.2oz. smallmouth on a Spitz along the north shore around 08:00. Both fish were in about 1 foot of water. I saw Spidey tearing things up before he had to hit work, too. I also saw Ned02, Ranger, Ken (a flash going by), and SDM/Ray (thanks for the glazed donut).

I had fun today, once the sun came up, I was starting to nail yellows. Switched to Baxter's Secret Weapon and pulled 4 fish out in a very short time. Then someone turned off the switch and no more bass. Biggest was 3 & 7/10th. Smallest was 2.7 pounds. Nice morning on the lake. Didn't get my donuts though.

Fished from 0530 t0 10:00, saw SDM/Ray,Bayou,Ranger,Ken ,da and Spidey and Baxter.I only managed about 10 yellows. Thanks for the Donut SDM And Spidey Thanks for the BSW and the lesson on how to use it.Yellows were caught on Kastmasters in 20 to 35 ft. We did try to push Spidey off his spot but he just invited us all in and took the fun right out of it! :lol: AND YES KEN I will double check the wires next time! :roll: ,He Guessed ,Spidey.

Fished from 5:45 am to 10:15. Went up in the river using Kastmaster, nada. Went over to Mesquite and we each boated 1 lm on senkos. Ray's was 1 lb and mine was 2.3 on my digital scale. Fish were caught right at the reeds in about 2-4 feet of water. Did not see or mark any shad. Rich

I fished from 0600 untill 1030 and all I have to say s three word " I Smell Skunk"
